The NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders, Inc. (NJCTS) offers a beacon of hope for individuals and families affected with TS and other neurological disorders through programs, services, support, and professional assistance. The first and only Center of Excellence of its kind in the nation, NJCTS is at the forefront of research, awareness, and advocacy.

From blazing trails in addressing education and support needs, to advocating for access to treatment and services, NJCTS has become the voice for individuals and families in need. Still, there is much work to be done to educate the public, reach new families, and forge ahead with research ever searching for more effective treatments.

Your generous support is key to making those advances and our ongoing services possible. There are myriad ways to support NJCTS—simply use one of the links below to send support to the needed area of your choice! Your financial support is vital, and simply put, we cannot do what we do without you.

General Donations: You can give online, by calling 908-575-7350 between 9 am and 4 pm Mondays-Fridays, or by mail—whatever is most comfortable for you! To give by mail, send a tax-deductible check to NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, 50 Division Street, Suite 205, Somerville, NJ 08876

In Honor of a Loved One: Has someone with TS or their story touched your life? Celebrate them with a donation in their name! This is also a great opportunity to give a gift in recognition of a birthday, wedding, graduation, or anniversary. Just enter their name here!

Monthly Donations: You can spread out your donation, by making a smaller payment each month. We can set up a program to charge your credit card or make automatic monthly donations from your account. Please call the office at 908-575-7350 or email info@njcts.org to explore this option.

Matching Gifts: Many employers will match gifts to a specific charity. Ask your human resources department about their policy on this and double your support for NJCTS!

Planned Giving Options: There are lots of creative ways to help NJCTS continue helping those who need—special gifts in someone's name, gifts that are favorable to your estate, vehicle donations, and more. Please call the office at 908-575-7350 or email info@njcts.org and someone will help explore a Planned Giving option that will work best for you.

NJ Walks for TS: NJ Walks for TS is now state-wide! Since 2010, the walks provide a day of fun, acceptance, awareness, and empowerment. Your donation can help deliver in-service workshops to schools and hospitals across the state, youth leadership training, and scholarships. Click here to support NJ Walks for TS.

NJCTS Tim Howard Leadership Academy: Designed to develop self-leadership, advocacy skills, and resilience in teens with TS and its associated disorders, the Academy increases a participant’s understanding of their diagnosis and provides opportunities and a safe environment to explore and identify their strengths, challenges, needs, and skills. The Academy provides an intentional space to build critical skills that will help young people with TS, like Tim Howard, to excel. Your gift can help keep the Academy going and growing!

Family Retreat Weekend: Since 2004, NJCTS has welcomed families to enjoy time away from it all at YMCA Camp Bernie in beautiful Hunterdon County. The retreat allows children and their families to meet others with TS, learn more about their diagnosis, and engage with peer mentors in a fun, safe, environment. Your gift can help sustain the "best weekend of the year" year after year.

Youth Scholarship Program: Each year, we honor kids with TS who are graduating high school with supportive scholarship grants that can help them further their education. Your gift can help us grow this program.

NJCTS Cell & DNA Sharing Repository: There is growing evidence that TS and associated disorders may be inherited. The NJCTS Sharing Repository at Rutgers University provides a sharing resource of clinical data and DNA that can be accessed by qualified researchers from throughout the world. Your gift will be used to help us collect, process and store samples and expand the program’s activities.

Tourette Syndrome Practicum and Clinic: NJCTS supports the nation’s only university-based TS clinic at Rutgers University. Kids and families are provided therapy and a new generation of health-care professionals get direct experience with TS and associated disorders. Your gift can help maintain and grow the program.

Education Outreach: NJCTS provides professional trainings for educators and health-care professionals. Your gift can be used to prepare and print literature, underwrite seminars and conferences, and expand our offerings.

Wednesday Webinars: NJCTS regularly provides educational webinars for the public and professional communities. Your gift can help underwrite the cost of the webinars.
