Family Retreats. A Wonderful Weekend Away for TS Kids and Their Families.
Each year, more than 100 families come together to enjoy a weekend away from it all at YMCA's Camp Bernie in Port Murray, NJ and at the Appel Farm in Elmer, NJ. The kids have a ball canoeing, fishing, riding horses, enjoying a campfire, participating in a talent show, and re-kindling old friendships and making new ones. Parents join in most activities, meet other parents, share stories of their kids, and participate in workshops. In the words of one parent, "It's the best weekend of the year!"
